Activity Team Leader

Day Services

37.5 hours per week (1 FTE) per annum

The role will be working 5 days a week Mon-Fri 08.30-16.30hrs with some occasional weekends and evenings required to meet the needs of the service

As an Activity Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate a variety of exciting sessions that promote self-esteem, inclusion, skill development, and independence.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with strong communication and organisational skills, who is passionate about supporting individuals in accessing a range of activities and work experience opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring care plans are up to date, risk assessments are completed, and providing leadership and supervision to Support Workers.

Experience/qualifications in art & craft, sports, horticulture, or culinary arts, as well as music, drama, outdoor activities, mindfulness, and wellness, for the role of Activity Team Leader would be desirable but more importantly, a positive approach, can do attitude, strong team player, forward thinking, being able to develop new ideas and the ability to work with minimal supervision at times is essential.

Salary Enhancements:

Enhanced rate of pay for overtime. 

Up to 3 time’s basic rate for Bank Holidays

The chance to pick up overtime on a regular basis

We have a successful record of accomplishment built up over 100 years with expertise in specialist residential, education, day opportunities and clinical and therapeutic services Our specialist school and college is part of an education, day opportunities and residential community.

Our School is for 11-19 year olds and rated GOOD by Ofsted

We also have a college onsite for 16-25 year olds with an Ofsted rating of OUTSTANDING Residential services for adults, either living in accommodation at our 165 acres in Warford or in one of our houses in a local town or village in Cheshire.
