Clinical Secretary/Receptionist/Administrator

22 hours per week (part-time)

Salary £21,508.00 pro rata            

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide Clinical Secretary/Receptionist/Administrational support in the clinic administrative team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Undertake general secretarial duties
  • Carryout reception duties, including answering telephones, maintaining appointment calendars, records and spreadsheets, and archiving
  • Take a role in some health and safety duties.
  • Provide administrative support, such as arranging meetings and minute taking   
  • Support reasonable adjustments for the individual’s attending clinic
  • Obtain and report on feedback from individual’s attending clinic

The successful candidate will be warm and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills; they will be flexible and committed to working as part of a team and have excellent planning and organisational skills.

Experience in Microsoft Office is essential. A willingness to learn how to use medical and care record system within the role is essential . Experience working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.
