Human Resources Assistant
Up to 12 months maternity cover
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £23,643 per annum
An opportunity has arisen within the Human Resources Department for a Human Resources Assistant on a temporary basis for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week to be worked in the office after an initial office-based training period.
You will be responsible for providing a quality support service to both managers and employees at David Lewis. Your role will include helping managers to implement HR policies and procedures, including absence management, processing sickness notification paperwork and contractual changes for a designated business area as well as other departmental administration.
The ideal candidate will display high standards of customer service and hold excellent communication skills both written and oral, having a keen eye for detail. It is essential that they are IT literate with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise their own workload in line with the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will also have a positive attitude, use initiative and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Experience of working within a HR function, as well as holding a CIPD Level 3 qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
