Role: Night Support Workers

Location: Warford Alderley Edge

Salary: £23,685.75 to £25,447.50, depending on qualifications (33% enhancements for Nights)

We have an opportunity to work as a Night Support Worker within our one of our houses based in Warford, Nr. Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

As a night Support Worker you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to our residents. Assisting them with their personal care and promoting good sleep through quiet calm communication and low stimulus activities when required.

To ensure that the people we support remain safe overnight you may be required to observe them through their sleep monitoring systems that each person has in place.

Each individual has a person centered care plan including positive behavior and communication support to guide you and you will be managed and guided by a team leader every night. 

You must have the ability to record clear and factual information on the ICare and school pod systems for each person you support and be able to contribute effectively to the daily staff handover.

You will receive ongoing training and have access to the wider MDT team to advise you and ensure the people we support receive bespoke care within their night routines. You will be expected to contribute to the reviewing of care plans, risk assessments and meetings around support needs.

A safe and clean environment for the people that we support is imperative and you will be expected to carry out cleaning tasks throughout the night.

Typical shift times are as follows:

9:00pm to 7:45am 

You would work a rota of 4 nights 4 nights off  

Salary Enhancements:

Night work paid at 1.3 time’s basic rate;

Enhanced rate of pay for overtime. 

Up to 3 time’s basic rate for Bank Holidays

The chance to pick up overtime on a regular basis

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.
