£27,295.72 plus 33% enhancements for nights
We are currently looking for 2 new Night Team Leaders to work on one of our residential houses based in Warford SK9 7UD
Hawthorns is a low arousal, low stimulus home providing 1-1 and 2-1 care to 7 – 10 residents.
On Hawthorns we support young adults who have many complex needs, people with varying conditions that can bring hourly and daily challenges. Do you have a can-do attitude, the ability to smile when things get challenging and want to be part of a team that makes a difference?
Although our residents have complex psychosocial needs this doesn’t stop them from leading full and active lives. There are challenging shifts, where team support is crucial, we provide full training as part of the 17 day induction.
We offer a number of activities on centre such as Top farm, swimming pool, café, shop and a day centre which host activities to support independence, creativity and sensory needs. In addition to the excellent support and services we have on site, our team work with a number of external companies to support residents to access additional experiences. We also have access to a number of vehicles that enable our residents to access the community which gives them more variety of activities in the local community, such as daily living, social integration and the wonderful Cheshire countryside.

Under the guidance of the Residential Manager you will take change of shifts, managing a team of Support workers to deliver care packages that are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. The role will include:
- Administration and supervision of medication rounds
- Manage daily operational requirement of rotas,
- Complete and review Care Plans, risk assessments and goal setting with key team members
- Active membership of Multi Disciplinary Teams, liaising with staff, professionals, families and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Participation in annual reviews and other reviews as required, including writing and presenting reports
- Line management responsibility, including performance management, supervisions and appraisals
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Substantial experience of providing care
- Understanding of CQC and Fundamental Standards
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Robust IT skills
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- People management
- Results driven
- Up-to-date knowledge of developments in the Care sector
Ideally, the successful candidate will have, or be willing to study for, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Salary Enhancements:
Weekend work paid at 1.3 times basic rate;
Up to 3 times basic rate for Bank Holidays
The chance to pick up overtime on a regular basis
Shift times are as follows:
9:00pm to 7:45am
