Salary: £21,826.13 to £23,685.75 dependant on qualifications. Enhanced pay for weekends and overtime

We have a number of opportunities to work as a Residential Support Worker within our one of our houses based in Warford, Nr. Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Orchards is a clinical based high dependency home providing 1-1 and 2-1 care to 18 residents.
On Orchards we support people who have many complex needs, people with rare conditions that can bring daily challenges.
Although our residents have complex health needs this doesn’t stop them from leading full and active lives. You can be part of the team that helps makes that happen.
We offer a number of activities on centre such as a farm, swimming pool, café, shop and a day centre which support independence, creativity and sensory needs. We also have number of fleet vehicles that enable our residents to access the community which gives them more variety of activities.
In addition to the excellent support and services we have on site, our team work with a number of external companies to support resident's access additional experiences. As an example you could support our residents in a fortnightly community access trip to Preston, where we participate in a sensory session. Here we have access to numerous, specially adapted sensory equipment which is enjoyed by both residents and staff.

We offer the following contracts:

We can support fixed shifts and weekend only shift patterns – please state what you can work when you apply.
Typical shift times are as follows:
7.30am - 3.00pm or Late 2.00pm - 9.30pm. The normal rota, if you do not request flexibility, will consist of a mixture of both early and late shifts.
You would be required to work at least, 2 weekends out of 4
Salary Enhancements:
Weekend work paid at 1.3 time’s basic rate;
Up to 3 time’s basic rate for Bank Holidays
The chance to pick up overtime on a regular basis

We have a successful track record built up over 100 years with expertise in specialist residential, education, day opportunities and clinical and therapeutic services
Our specialist school and college is part of an education, day opportunities and residential community.
Our School is for 11-19 year olds and rated GOOD by Ofsted
We also have a college onsite for 16-25 year olds with an Ofsted rating of OUTSTANDING
Residential services for adults, either living in accommodation at our 165 acres in Warford or in one of our houses in a local town or village in Cheshire.
Adult day opportunities which develop social and vocational skills with the potential to lead to employment opportunities.
Access to therapy, nursing, medical and behaviour support if appropriate to an individual’s needs.

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.
