This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide person centred agreed and supervised Therapy input to children and adults in the David Lewis School, College and Residential Services.

David Lewis Clinical & Therapy Services provide support for people who live in residential services and students who access educational services. We are dedicated to improving the quality of lives for people with learning disabilities and or autism, epilepsy, complex learning disorders, including neurological impairments, and other complex support needs. The people we support ages range from 11- to end of life. We have a successful track record, built up over 120 years with expertise and are rated as GOOD by the CQC.

Supporting the Therapy Services, you will be responsible for the implementation of Therapy advised interventions working with the direction and support of qualified Therapists, to meet the needs of the people we support. 

The successful candidate will have: -

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C/5 and above, or equivalent, or functional skills level 2. (Essential)
  • Further education within health, child development or social care. (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and ADHD (Essential)
  • Competency in mobility assessment and equipment provision (Desirable)
  • Evidence of continuous professional development (Essential)
  • Experience of running interventions, with measurable impact. (Desirable)

Our specialist school and college is part of an education, day opportunities and residential community.

Our School is for 11-19 year olds and rated GOOD by Ofsted

We also have a college onsite for 16-25 year olds with an Ofsted rating of OUTSTANDING

Residential services for adults, either living in accommodation at our 165 acres in Warford or in one of our houses in a local town or village in Cheshire.

Adult day opportunities which develop social and vocational skills with the potential to lead to employment opportunities.

Access to therapy, nursing, medical and behaviour support if appropriate to an individual’s needs.
