Lifeguard
Day Opportunities
37.5 hours per week (1 FTE)
£24,000.00 per annum full time (time and a third paid for weekends)
Candidates must hold a valid certificates for the role
Providing the highest standards of care and protection for our service users within the Swimming Pool, you will, work unsupervised to open and close the pool.
During opening hours you will work with your colleagues to ensure compliance with Pool Safety Operating Procedures.
The pool is open 7 days a week so the role will require some weekend and evening work
The successful applicant will be a confident swimmer with a level of fitness commensurate with the role. You will possess a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (essential) as well as a National Pool Plant Operators certificate (desirable) or be willing to complete this (sponsorship will be provided). Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and IT literacy is desirable.

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.
