Pool & Sports Facilities Compliance Manager

(Day Opportunities)

 £32,141,63 per annum

The role will be working 5 days Mon- Sun shift times to be agreed weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays will be required to meet the needs of the service.

The Pool & Sports Facilities Compliance Manager will oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Swimming Pool and Sports facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations. They will develop and implement policies, enforce health and safety practices, and maintain detailed pool records and perform Lifeguard Duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management and leadership skills. Flexibility in working hours is required.

A positive approach, can do attitude, strong team player who is organised, has good time management skills and the ability to work across multiple areas with minimal supervision is essential.

Ideally you will be:

Experience working in a sports centre/ leisure environment

Management experience in a relevant role, including line management of staff

Hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willing to be trained

Hold a current National Pool Management Qualification or willing to be trained

Pool plant operators' licence, or willing to be trained

Experience managing a budget

Relevant Sports Science Degree

Level 2 or above Personal/ Fitness Training qualification
